Sunflower Montessori School is a preschool situated in the heart of Newton Park, Port Elizabeth.
We pride ourselves on being a family oriented school. Our classes are small and our environment is homely.
We cater for children aged 18 months to 6 years including Gr. R
Our hours are 07h15 - 17h15. We offer half day, 3/4 day and full day options.
Nutritious breakfast porridge and delicious lunch meals are served daily.
We are open throughout the year and close for the December school holidays.
Our staff are trained in First Aid and we are contracted with the Eastern Cape Medical Response (ECMR)

Class Groups
Toddlers 18 months to 3 years
Our toddler group is a small group of a maximum of 9 little ones lovingly cared for by 2 teachers. Our aim with this group is to help these tots to adjust to school life and discover the joys of learning. They are also encouraged to become independent and are given lots of opportunity to do so.
Big Kids 3 - 6 years
Our older group comprises of 3 classes with a maximum of 15 children per class. Our Montessori environment provides opportunity for individual attention and holistic development of each child. Self-discipline is encouraged and children learn at their own pace.
